Open the signed quote and tap Create invoice. The invoice has what your customer signed, with confirmed deposits taken off.

Create it

  1. Open the signed quote in Quotes.

  2. Tap Create invoice. The invoice opens as a Draft.

Tapping it again never makes a second invoice. Once it exists, the quote shows Open invoice with its number instead.

What goes on it

  • The option your customer signed and the add-ons they picked, at the signed prices. Nothing is re-typed or re-priced.
  • VAT as it was on the signed quote.
  • Less deposit received: deposits that are confirmed or that you marked paid.
  • Balance due at the bottom and in the summary.

If your customer says they paid a deposit and you haven't confirmed it yet, the invoice says so at the top. Tap Open quote and confirm it there, then it comes off the invoice.

You can't change the lines on the invoice. They are what your customer signed.

Before you send it

While it's a Draft, you can set:

  • When is it due?: Due on receipt, or 7, 14 or 30 days.
  • Note to your customer: up to 1,000 characters.

Tap Save. If the invoice says Add how customers pay you. It goes on the invoice., add your payment link or bank details so they go on the invoice.

Next: Send an invoice and get paid.
